...arrived in the mail today!

Remember when I told you all about Embejo, the blogger from New Zealand who's working to ship medical supplies to Zimbabwe? Well, she had a contest on her blog and I won! I'm now the proud owner of a beautiful baby blanket, made by Embejo.

Here are all the girls on the blankie. I tried to get Lucy to move off the letters that spelled out Evie's name, but she was not being cooperative. Beth was being cheesy. Evie looks a little confused.



Here, I was trying to get just Evie and her name. Because she's actually just about the same length as the letters that spell out her name. But again with the not-cooperative Lucy. Smiley Evie, though!



You can see how pretty the colors she chose are, but what you can't feel through the computer monitor is how incredibly soft it is. It's also quite large. It just invites you to snuggle up in it. In fact, it hasn't even made its way to Evie's room; it's remained in our living room, where the girls request it for snuggling at story time.

So thanks, Embejo, for a wonderful blanket! I'm sure we'll enjoy it for many years.
